Yeah, if we're gonna continue on this trend I'd prefer we just go back to marching bands. 
Mostly joking but, I agree, most of the halftime shows have been mediocre, at best. I often wonder if it's just because I'm getting older and the audience they're trying to reach are all teenagers. I'd imagine one thing is for certain...having a bad performer probably creates a lot more talk about the performance than if it were a great show.
