It’s that time of year where CBCS gets geared up to go to one of the oldest and most comic-centric shows in the nation – OAFCon! The Oklahoma Alliance of Fans (OAF) was officially founded on March 18, 1967, by Robert Brown (RIP, 2025), Paul McSpadden, Steve Fears, and John Wooley. The club was founded on the principles of reading and collecting comic books and has since expanded into other fandoms.
