I can't believe what I just read! The Mavs have traded Luka Doncic to the Lakers for Anthony Davis (what!?)! So Luka goes to team up with Lebron. Could be a tough set of matchups for any team there. I'm not sure I like this deal if I'm the Mavs. Can Davis stay healthy enough to finish a season? Can anyone, or multiple anyones, replace Doncic's offense?

Yeah, nobody saw that coming! Trade Luka, sure, but for Anthony Davis? What in the...

The Mavs might've just given the Lakers the chip!

Yeah, I hope not too! I can't stand Lebron and, spoiler alert, if they win I have a feeling everyone will talk about how it's all because Lebron carried them to victory!
At one time, I was the biggest LeBron supporter there was. After years of watching his flops and incessant whining, I no longer support him at all.

Yeah…I was pretty unplugged yesterday and woke up to this. I have a severe dislike for the Lakers, but this sets them up for the next decade when they were going into a potential rebuilding phase in the next few years.

This will be the franchise player the Lakers need after LeBron retires so they continue to build around him for the next decade to come.

Yeah, I can completely see the Laker's side of this deal. In my opinion, this was a GREAT deal for them. I'm still struggling to see what the Mavs gain from this, or what they think they gained from this. Not only did they just trade away, really, the face of the franchise, they just vastly improved the Laker's chances of winning it all. For what?! A guy who hasn't even proven he can stay consistently healthy? That's just wild to me!

I was listening to a podcast earlier today and they were talking about how the new management may have known he wouldn’t resign or was going to demand a sign and trade. This gets them under the luxury tax for this year at the very least from that standpoint.

I guess that would make sense. Heck, from everything I've heard so far, that's the only thing that makes sense!
