Jungle was the second expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and was released on June 16, 1999, six months after the game debuted. It was loosely based on Red and Blue’s Safari Zone, as evident from the Pokémon TCG Jungle set checklist below. The expansion can essentially be seen as an extension of the Base Set.
