Tony Parker is a prime example of taking the path of least resistance. He was a very late first round pick, Ginobilli was a second round pick, Bruce Bowen was a little known 3 and D guy and the rest of the league was chasing the shiny objects. The Spurs played the long game and won 4 titles, 3 of which were with those lightly regarded players as key pieces to the machine.
