Yeah, that's definitely true. I'm not a vintage collector (yet, although you guys are pushing me) but in that case I'd just have to look at ones that look like they're closest to the quality of the card in question. Definitely not a perfect art, but for me it'd be a heck of a lot better than giving up $120 BV for a card I can buy for under $30 on eBay.
I saw your thread and, unfortunately, I don't have a hockey OPG. I only have basketball and baseball. I'll probably switch to the total access once my subscriptions are due again, but that doesn't happen for another three weeks.
