After much thought I have come to the decision that, effective on January 1, 2026, almost all of my websites will be permanently shutting down, including Sports Card Arena. I'd like to encourage you all to register, if you haven't already, at Sports Card Club. On January 1, 2026 all data will be removed from this server and the domain name will simply redirect all traffic to there.

Matt Strahm card collecting

I love this! There have actually been quite a few pro players (usually baseball players) who collect cards through the years. I think I read somewhere at one time that Lebron has a pretty nice Lebron collection. I'd have to search it sometime to verify, but it sure seems like that's something I read.

We got a figure out a way to get those dudes on The Arena. I wanna trade a Bobby Witt Jr. card to Bobby Witt Jr. himself. 🤣

That would be so cool, how would that even happen though.

My first thought is, it probably won't. 🤣 That said, I really have no idea what could make that happen. I wouldn't imagine these guys spend much time talking/trading cards. I'd imagine they probably just buy what they want.

This is a great article! I especially like the part where he's bringing folks back into the hobby. Imagine if more guys who play would start collecting. Might become a household thing again for all/most kids.

Also, what a unique idea for him to have a collection of all the guys who crank a homer off him. I must be a narcissist, because I probably would've went for the dudes I struck out. 🤣
