That's awesome! I love ancestry, personally. It's a great way to find out a lot about the history of your family, especially if someone from the family has filled a lot of it out. That's how I found out I was part native American. Funny thing is my mom used to tell us growing up that we're native American on her side, but according to ancestry that wasn't the case. I'm native American on my dad's side and mostly Irish on my mom's side. Me and my boys were both able to get our Indian cards, which has been quite a blessing now that the boys are in college. They've helped out quite a bit paying for it. If not for ancestry, who knows if we would've even known to try that.
But anyways, yes, super cool that your daughter was able to find you that way too, and that she lives so close. Hope y'all are able to have a great and lasting relationship now that she's found.
