PSA Bulk Submission Group - May 2025

Just as an FYI, the status on this order finally changed. It's now listed as "Research and ID". I'm not sure what this means, as far as how close we are to getting our cards back, but it's a new development. We're all learning as we go here!

This is what I found via grok:
The Research and ID phase in a PSA submission group involves PSA verifying and cataloging each card’s details (e.g., year, set, player) to ensure accuracy before grading. For group submissions, this applies to all cards in the batch, handled by a PSA-authorized dealer. Submitters may review card details via a PSA email link to confirm or correct information. Delays can occur with rare, new, or misidentified cards, potentially holding up the entire group order. Accurate submission forms and prompt responses to review emails help avoid delays. Track status via PSA’s Online Submission Center or the dealer.

Just as another update, the status is now listed as "Grading". It either changed some time yesterday or today. When I checked on Friday it still shows "Research and ID". As always, I'll keep y'all posted here with any other updates or status changes. I usually check this thing at least several times per week, but usually more.

Checked in again today and the status has now changed to "Assembly". I assume that means all the cards are graded and they're packing them back up for shipping back to me. We're getting closer y'all! 🕺

Just received an email about 20 minutes ago letting me know that I need to verify all label descriptions are correct. I've sent you all a DM with your labels. Please, as soon as you can, give those a look and let me know if you notice any issues so I can get them reported to PSA. I'm assuming we don't have much time before our cards are being mailed back!

Here's what the latest status says now, too:

PSA labels are being printed and each eligible item is being sonically sealed within a PSA holder.

Just as a heads-up, our order is now in the "Completing" stage, and I was charged for the order this morning. All the grades are now available. If any of you want to know your grades early, just shoot me a DM and I'll get them to you as soon as I can.

When should we expect these to arrive?

Cards are here y'all! Everyone, when you get a chance, shoot me a DM with how you'd like your cards shipped back to you, if we haven't already made arrangements, and I'll get you a shipping total ASAP so I can get the cards headed your way!

were you posting pics of the grades
The plan was to do a video, but I've got a super busy week and wouldn't be able to do a video until late this weekend or early next week (Sunday evening at the earliest). So, instead of having folks have to wait on their cards another week, I decided it's best to just forego the video and just get the cards on the way to their owners.

I don't have photos, but I had the same happen with a Tim Duncan rookie that I actually got as a freebie from @AndyDrummond. I was expecting at least an 8, hoping for a 9, and ended up with a 7. Looking at the card after the fact, I'm still not sure why a 7. I can see an 8 because it's got a few soft corners, which are only really visible on the close-up scans PSA took, but a 7 is still surprising.

In any case, it's a forever PC card for me anyways, so it's no big deal. I was just kinda hoping. I'll get some pictures of my returns ASAP and post them up for y'all to see.
