• ATTENTION
    After much thought I have come to the decision that, effective on January 1, 2026, almost all of my websites will be permanently shutting down, including Sports Card Arena. I'd like to encourage you all to register, if you haven't already, at Sports Card Club. On January 1, 2026 all data will be removed from this server and the domain name will simply redirect all traffic to there.

USPS auto-debiting my Shipstation account... this one makes no sense!

I got debit'ed $0.52 today for this

This wasn't an issue where I accidentally used media mail, it was USPS ground advantage... what they've replaced first class with.

Can you over-exaggerate the dimensions size to get charged extra? What?

Better yet, when I go to appeal this non-sense, even as little as it is, I don't care.

For those of you who can't read in red "Dispute is not valid, please contact your postage provider to confirm your information"

Makes more sense every step I take.

Thanks USPS! You guys are awesome

I actually had an adjustment happen when I sent @cardhunterpr the 2025 Topps box he won in our last contest. The good news is that I actually received a refund of $1.xx. I'd never known of the USPS to do adjustments like this after the fact but at least it does happen both ways. In my case I mis-calculated the weight as being too high so they refunded me the difference. May not be the last time this happens, either, because I purposely over-exaggerate the weight on all my packages to make sure they don't get sent back to me due to insufficient funds and I definitely don't want someone else having to pick up the tab on the shortage. Of course if they're doing automatic adjustments with Shipstation now, I don't guess that's something I need to worry about anymore.

That is crazy tough luck there. Hope you can resolve it!

Yeah I do the same as well.

@zlw1

That is so frustrating, its not the amount, its the principle of funds coming out of your account without your knowledge. Of everything they have to deal with, I would think that would be really low on the USPS priority list!

I have not had luck in the past buying shipping labels through ebay, and have not dealt with shipstation at all. I will say, if its a USPS operation, you know its about as legit as a 3 dollar bill!

Hope it gets resolved, Cheers!

Kevin
