So I thought I'd kick this new site off by starting a thread dedicated to my Tony Parker PC. I started this PC around like 2008. I've taken a few years off from collecting since then so it's mostly been an on again off again collection. That said, it's still the central focus of my collection...and with that said, I'll start off sharing the single most important card in my collection.

I bought this card on eBay early on into my collection and it was my favorite card then. Several years later I sent it in to BGS to have it graded. I knew it wouldn't be a 10 because of the centering but I mainly just wanted to get it encased. I sent it in with a restriction of 8 or no grade, meaning if it didn't grade at least an 8 (I was guessing 8-8.5) they'd just send it back.

Well, turns out the card was in dang good shape and, if not for the centering, it would have graded a 9.5. I was, and still am, extremely happy to have received this back as a BGS 9.

Anyways, I won't bore you with any more back story...here it is!

Today I'm just showing off a random card from my game-used/relic box. This is one that's been in the collection for a number of years.

Been a while since I've showed one of these off, so let's take a look at a random relic I just pulled out of the box.

What a great player he was! There were several years where he led the league in points in the paint!! Defenders just could not keep him in front of them. Very underrated and very overlooked in the grand scheme of things. I have no idea why Chris Paul was considered the be all and end all for point guards and Parker was an after thought.

The Spurs almost traded him for Jason Kidd after they won their second title and their first with Parker. Thankfully that did not happen as Jason Kidd hit the downside shortly after that and Parker improved immensely from then on.

Oh, don't even get me started! Even folks around here who think he wasn't that good. I argue that without him, you can take at least one of those championships away, and maybe more. One of the most underrated players in NBA history. Of course I'm a huge fan, and I'm biased, so it's good to hear someone else say it too.

Today I'll show off what is actually the only other graded Tony Parker card I have, other than my 2001-02 Topps Chrome Black Border Refractor Tony Parker. I'd have to check again when I get home, but I'm pretty sure this one also received all four sub-grades of a 9.5. Nice card, nice grade, and the perfect addition to this Tony Parker PC.

Today I was trying to revive my old Tony Parker PC page, so I was browsing through some of my cards, and I came across this one.

It's the only buyback in my collection, in any sport. I picked this one up in a trade from a friend (Steve aka aceecards) on TCC back in the day. I don't remember what I had to give up for it, so that means it was probably a great deal for me! The auto is a little smudged, but it looks the same now as when I picked it up originally. Also, it's numbered /19 and came with a COA so I was super excited to get this one added to the ol' PC.

That's a good one!

Just wanted to share what I've been working on for the past few days. Been trying to get all my TP9 cards back into a list so I thought I'd revive my old website. However, I don't own the domain name anymore and the website was written on old technology so the code didn't even work anymore. So, I rewrote most of it and made the site's style much more basic. Should still be pretty easy to view all the cards, though.

So far I've only made it through 2003-04 but I'll continue working on the rest until it's complete again. I do already have all my autograph, relics, and graded cards added. The only bad thing I've noticed so far is that this has reminded me how few autograph, relics, and graded cards I actually have in this PC.

But, I'm pretty happy with it considering it was all mostly built with a low-budget mindset. Anyways, here it is!

I finally got all my Tony Parker cards added to the site. Looks like, as of now, I have a total of 384 different Tony Parker cards. This includes 13 autographs, 48 memorabilia cards, 64 serial numbered, and 2 graded rookies. I also have another 20, or so, incoming that I purchased today for an average of $.48 each. So, I'll finally be over the 400 mark at some point, hopefully, next week.

Now I just have to start slowly getting scans of all these cards added too. 😳🤦‍♂️

Time for another Tony Parker. I'm not even really sure where this one came from but, being a rookie year card, it's definitley one of my favorites. Just wish I had a graded copy.

Here's one I just got this week, which was another freebie. My favorite kind of PC adds! This one came from SportLots. How did I get a freebie from SportLots you ask? Well, I ordered a bunch of base cards from a seller (cochise9). Unfortunately, one of the cards I bought they didn't actually have in stock. So, they refunded me the $.20 I paid for the card, and sent me a message saying they added in a card to make up for the missing one. I figured it'd probably be another base/insert card that I already had. No big deal...I got these cards for an average of under $.50 each, including shipping so I was still happy with the order. To my surprise, when I opened up the package this is the card that was on top of the stack...

Not only was this a card I didn't have, but it was also a jersey card, numbered /200! I never would have dreamed of this being the replacement for a card I only paid $.20 for. I only paid $11.44, including shipping, for the entire order so having this card included as a replacement was a huge surprise.
