WTTF: 72-73 Topps Basketball

I don't seem to have an upgrade list for my 70 set. I usually put any cards I want to upgrade at the end of the set, facing the opposite way. But I don't seemto have done that on my 70 set.

I do have my 69 upgraee list and I do have a bigger 1967 upgrade list if you think you can help me on that set.

1969 Topps Upgrades 40 (Mayo Smith), 580 (Jim Northup), 616 (Don McMahon), 624 (NL Rookie Stars), 617 (George Stone).

Seem to be heavy on the Tigers on that list. Looking for similar card as you, nice corners, decent centering no crease.
Hit me with the 67s too…I’ll get out the box and they’re all in the same place.

Not much help, the only one I can hit is solid but has a water stain. Going to have to let me know what else I could look for here.
I'll take that. Mine has horrible corners so this is certainly an improvement. I'll think about some other stuff I'm intereted in. I still have to figure out what I have for you so it'll be a few days before we wrap this trade up.

Hopefully I can FINALLY get this post done. If anyone calls me I am likely to merc someone!

Here are the 72-73s I have for you.

NBA

8 (R. Smith RC), 9, 11 (Sloan), 20 (S. Wicks RC), 23, 39, 42 (Dandridge), 45 (Jo Jo White), 56 (Greer), 71, 81 (Wilkins), 91, 92 (Nelson), 95
105 (DeBusshere), 121, 128, 129 (Reed), 145, 148 (Love), 154 (Game 1), 158 (Game 5/J. West)

ABA

208, 219, 225, 235, 237 (roomed with this mystery pkayer's brother at Davidson's College basketball camp in the mid 70s,)
254 (Game 4/ R. Barry), 246 (Game 6), 247 (Pacers win), 248 (ABA checklist), 249 (Issel AS), 250 (Barry AS), 262 (FT% Ldrs/Barry)

I priced these by condition, The ABA checklist was preiously agreed at $15. I knocked off about $15 off the rest of the lot for any condition flaws which brings the entire lot to about $100 in trade value, Most of those cards itemized were either listed in my Beckett Vintage or were unlisted HOFers which I counted as unlisted $3 stars.

No interruptions! A miracle!!! LOL

Well outside of the Northrop how can I help your collection?

Andy I'm not sure if you saw my addition to my previous post about being interested in the 1972 Topps Baseball #737 that you offered to Rotorob in your 1953 Topps topic. I added that line to my earlier post about 30 minutes after i posted the original so you may have missed that edit.

Also I'm not sure you saw rtsjr's post on vintage Royals, Steelers and Celtics since we were posting at the same time and mine buried his.

In addition to that 1972 Topps high # I am interested in any high #s from the following years

1966 Topps #523-598
1967 Topps #534-609
1970 Topps #634-720
1972 Topps #657-787

I'd prefer decent opies of any of those but if you have lower grade high #s I still may be interested in them if priced by condition.

And in a shocking request do you have any junk wax era cards in all 4 major sports? I have a crazy amount of 1 and done, 2 and done sets that I'd like to complete. If so, I can PM you or post those want lists here.
